Yes. If you call or book online before noon on a weekday, we can almost always be at your door the same afternoon across Greenwich, Stamford, White Plains, Scarsdale, Yonkers, Nyack, New City and every town in between. Calls after 2pm may need to be scheduled for next-day.

Accepted Answer

All major brands — Samsung, LG, GE, Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, Frigidaire, Kenmore, Electrolux, Bosch, and premium brands including Sub-Zero, Viking, Wolf, Thermador, and Miele. If you own a niche or European brand, call us — we can usually source parts within 24-48 hours.

How does pricing work?

Every quote is given in person at your home — never over the phone. A factory-trained technician arrives, opens the appliance, diagnoses the failure, and writes a flat quote you can review on the spot. You decide whether to move forward, and the price you see is the price you pay.

What is your warranty on appliance repair?

Accepted Answer

1 year on parts and 3 years on labor. That's roughly double what most appliance repair companies in Fairfield, Westchester and Rockland Counties offer. If something we repaired fails within the warranty window, we come back at no charge.

Are you licensed and insured?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Family Touch Repairs & Diagnostics is fully licensed and carries liability insurance on every job. We can provide proof of insurance for any property management company or HOA that requires it.

Move items off or out of the appliance if possible (empty the freezer, clear dishes from the dishwasher). Note the brand, model number (usually on an interior sticker), and a description of what's wrong. Takes the guesswork out and often speeds up the repair.
